Frequently asked questions
Is this check-in tool free?
Yes. Create a list of up to 100 guests and scan them in free, no account needed.
Do door staff need an app?
No. They open the scan link in the phone browser and allow the camera. Several people can use the same link at different doors.
What if the internet drops?
The scanner still recognises guests from the loaded list, stores scans on the phone and sends them when back online. Do not reload the page while offline.
A guest forgot their QR code?
Type the name or last 3 phone digits into the scanner search and tap check in.
Can a code be used twice?
No. A scanned code shows "checked in at…" on every phone, at every door.
Shared the scan link by mistake?
Click "Change scan link" in the manage page: the old link stops working at once.
More than 100 guests?
Move the list to Tickmi Studio: QR codes already sent keep working and check-ins are kept. New accounts get 100 free ticket issues.
How long is data kept?
30 days after the last edit or scan, then deleted.
